Since October 2018 I am a research assistant at the Interactive Media Lab Dresden. I am also a member of the DFG Research Training Group 2323 with the topic “Conducive Design of Cyber-physical Production Systems“. The Research Training Group is a strongly interdisciplinary team and looks at cyber-physical production systems (CPPS) from the perspectives of computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, but also psychology.
My research focuses on the possibilities of in-situ visualization of information in a CPPS. The user of such a system should be supported by the visualizations and the representation of possible consequences in the decision making process. In my research, I also deal with mixed reality and the potential combination of multi-display and AR systems.
