Description of the Course Work

The course work for the lecture Interactive Information Visualization is an addition to the lecture and helps understand the lecture’s contents. Students are going to get a deeper understanding of modern information visualization techniques and environments, and get to practice the lectures contents through implementation.

Students are strongly encouraged to work in small teams of 2 (working alone is still possible) to solve the tasks presented to them in our course work meetings. The tasks will be focused on designing and implementing visualization and interaction concepts. In the course work meetings, students will present selected results, we will address questions and introduce the next assignment, which will then be solved by the students until the next meeting.
