Immersive data-driven storytelling refers to the meaningful employment of immersive technologies for narrative visualization.

Within this project, we investigate the way that data stories capture audiences and how the medium is elevated through the latest technologies (including, e.g., Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Generative Artificial Intelligence). Our core contribution to this field, as of now, is a scoping review where we discuss how immersive data stories have emerged in scientific literature, journalism, and games.
